The "One Percent" initiative.

"One percent" is a charitable initiative that will be sponsored and operated by the NEW NUDE NETWORK. The objective of this initiative is to offer monetary support to selected organizations and/or individuals in Eastern Europe.

From Petter Hegre:
	"My work has brought me often into Eastern Europe. While there, I have been struck by the beauty and brilliance of the women, and the hardships faced by them and their children. In response, I have founded 1% - New Nudes / New Hopes. May this initiative contribute to the improvement of their lives."

WE HOPE THAT OUR efforts may contribute to improving the lives of those less fortunate. Because the New Nude Network gains so many of its models from this region, we feel that it is only right that a share of its profits should benefit the needy in these communities. To that end, the Network has decided to give 1% of its net monthly earnings to provide support to institutions like: rape crisis centers, orphanages, women's health services, and other health and human welfare organizations. In addition, the initiative also aims at helping selected individuals whose lives may be improved by receiving funds. These funds can be directed at specific tasks like a needed operation or dental care, or to the more general support of the livelihood of those in need.

Every month, the "One Percent" representative located in the Ukraine, Tanya Shumeyko, will select the charitable organization or individual that will receive a donation from the network. This selection will be based on the general principles and guidelines of the network, and thoroughly documented on the site. Through pictures and narrations from Tanya, we will keep you updated on the use and result of donations from the "One Percent" network.
