The 1% Project Lends another Helping Hand

“One Percent” is a charitable initiative sponsored and operated by Hegre-Art.com with the goal of offering monetary support to selected organizations and/or individuals in Eastern Europe.

The 1% Project Lends another Helping Hand THIS TIME, the 1% Project heads to the Ukraine to offer support to a very special child named Pavlusha; a young boy diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Not long ago Pavlusha lost his father, who was a police officer, in the line of duty leaving only his mother to care for him on a meager nursing salary.

In order to help Pavlusha with his development, the 1% Project sponsored him to spend fourteen days at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets, with the goal of helping Pavlusha learn to walk with greater ease and improving his speech skills.

Petter Hegre states, “While in Easter Europe, I have been struck by the beauty and brilliance of the women, and the hardships faced by them and their children.” One case at a time, it is our goal to make the world a better place.
