This was a race to see what the island had to offer, and now we know the legend is true: Ibiza rocks in the summer like no other place in Europe.
Today we took the day off and spent it mostly on Es Cavellet, a nude beach, naturally, and one of many officially sanctioned by the open-minded island authorities. Behind Es Cavellet is a range of low sand dunes where couples, mainly gay couples, it has to be said, wander off to explore the undergrowth.
In a way, on Ibiza you are spoiled for choice. Wherever you go there's amazing beaches and secluded little coves, and although you feel you in the heart of nature, there's a cosmopolitan mix of people, great fish at bars right on the sea line and a dreamy backdrop of endless nudity.
As for all you Americans hanging out here, acting casually, walking in your oversized swimming trunks on the nude beach trying to sneak some snaps of the naked people on the sands to show to your friends when you get home, we know who you are ;-) And to all of you on this little Spanish island, enjoy the summer like you only can on Ibiza!
Love,
Luba and Petter
